One neighborhood - one month - no cars: the EcoMobility World Festival 2013 was a mise-en-scène of future urban life. During the entire month of September 2013, the 4,300 residents of Haenggung-dong neighborhood in Suwon, South Korea, removed their 1,500 cars from the area and moved around in an ecomobile fashion. Where did idea and concept come from, how was Suwon City identified as a model city, how was the festival organized, who was involved, and ultimately - what have the outcomes and legacy been?
Our Album contains four video documentaries in English and two films in Chinese produced by The Urban Idea and ICLEI with support from Suwon City.
